Podcast 154: How to Love Your Country: Patriotism and the Bible
/in Podcast/by Wallace Smith & John RobinsonFirst, we know a lot of you are traveling to the 2025 Texas Teen Camp right now. If so, have a safe trip! And if you have loved ones there or just want to know what’s going on, be sure to come back here to the website often and look for new posts or click on “Camp” in the menu. There are already pics there from Adventure Camp (welcome back everyone!)—and thanks, by the way, for the little video you sent of everyone there listening to the podcast! Certainly gave us the warm fuzzies. 🙂
So, check back later and look for camp posts and pics! And you should be able to see pics on LYP social media feeds, as well.
As for the podcast—well, it’s Fourth-of-July weekend here in the United States, when America celebrates its independence. With that in mind, it seemed fitting to address a question that comes up from time to time: Is patriotism biblical? Are loving one’s country and being a Christian compatible? Join us as we talk about it!
